When something goes wrong
What each message means, and what to do about it.
- “Unauthorized” or “Sign in first” before you’ve signed in: that’s expected. Finish signing in from your assistant.
- No workspace to pick: only an owner can connect an assistant. Ask an owner of the workspace to connect it.
- “This request has expired or was already decided”: the sign-in page lasts 10 minutes. Start connecting again from your assistant.
- “This sign-in has expired” or “was revoked”: the assistant was signed out, or its sign-in ran out. Connect again from your assistant.
- “This connection can only read apps”: you chose read only. Connect again and choose read and build.
- A rate limit or monthly quota: the assistant has made too many calls. Wait a minute, or until next month for the quota.
- Connected, but it shows no tools: the assistant has to use Streamable HTTP. It should show 3 tools with read only access, 7 with read and build.
- “The app can’t be published yet”: one of the checks failed, and the message says which. Ask your assistant to fix it and publish again.
- The workspace holds 200 apps: delete one to make another.
- No install link: open Apps: each app has Open to install and Copy link. Or ask your assistant to list your apps.
- The app didn’t update: open it with a connection and tap Reload on the bar. If no bar shows, close the app and open it again.
- “This app was deleted” or “This app was taken down”: it won’t open any more. You can remove its icon from your home screen.
- “No app here”: there’s no app at that address. Check the link in Apps.
